OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE.

Find farmers with unique coffees, perform a flawless milling process, and deliver this impeccable coffee to quality-conscious micro roasters.  Our model enables us to match incredible coffees- from smallholder farmers- with specific quality and process requirements required by discerning micro roasters- and all with full economic and physical traceability as well as timely services. 

We also believe that with every bag of coffee we deliver to a client, we are making a long lasting friendship, that transcends borders and language barriers.

Every coffee that we trade allows us to improve the economic sustainability of our growers, whom in turn can then focus on diminishing his/her environmental impact.

OUR PROCESS.

Our goal is to find the ideal process for each particular farm & varietal, based on the brix content, varietal, weather, and time of harvest.  Our state-of-the-art micro mill includes patios for sun-drying and elevated beds for more rigorous drying.  For inclement weather, which global climate change seems to sending more off our way, we have a green house and specially designed drum driers.  All this enables us to process our coffees as washed conventional, varying grades of honey processes, and naturals.  Throughout the whole process we are able to painstakingly separate every lot of coffee in order to assure full traceability and a stable cup quality.

FARMS.

Our micro-mill has a privileged geographical location- nestled on the fringe of both the Costa Rican Central Valley and the Tarrazu region- which enables us to choose the best farms from both of these renowned regions.  Every lot that we process has full traceability to the grower, coffee varietal, location, altitude, date of harvest, brix content and more.
